Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international financial reporting standards.
Oversee all accounting operations including Ledger maintenance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Tax computations.
Manage the monthly bookkeeping and financial reporting, utilizing modern accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero.
Prepare and submit VAT returns and corporation tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions and maintain optimal cash flow management.
Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting systems and policies.
Supervise, train, and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages efficiency and growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance and ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a solid foundation in accounting, taxation, auditing, and financial management.
Proven experience in managing financial operations, ideally within a logistics or related business context.
Strong proficiency in using various financial software platforms such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and Pandle.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Superior leadership and communication skills, capable of managing and developing a team.
